The first Concert on the Square of the season is tonight at 7:00pm with Pino Farina Band!

As always, we will continue to watch the weather as we get closer to the start time. Any updates will be posted on our social media pages and website.

As a reminder, please review our rules for the season.
-Walk Your Wheels: Riding bicycles, scooters, skateboards, or rollerblades is not allowed in the downtown area during concerts.
-Reserving Spaces: Chairs cannot be placed in the grass of the Square before 7am on the day of a concert. Chairs cannot be placed in the street before 3pm on the day of a concert. Keep sidewalks and brick paths clear in case of an emergency.
-Be Respectful: Alcohol should be consumed responsibly. Disorderly or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Limit the number of chairs and blankets you set out to allow enough space for others to enjoy the concert. Do not throw balls within the Square or along Main Street and Coral Street. Do not climb the trees.

We hope to see you tonight!

Our first Concert on the Square of the season is tomorrow! As we do every year, we will be monitoring the weather closely on days that concerts are scheduled to take place. If a concert needs to be canceled at any time this summer, we will post on our social media channels by 6pm on the day of the event.

For those planning to attend a concert this summer, the Village utilizes a lightning warning system and a weather station called Perry Weather to track incoming weather. This system is located in Downtown Huntley and is equipped with sirens that will sound should lightning be detected in the area. We encourage attendees to view our Perry Weather widgets for weather updates and to track the weather status.

Our Perry Weather widgets can be found here: https://loom.ly/MOrMI8A

The Village’s Public Works crews will begin hydrant flushing the week of May 18th as part of routine system maintenance.

Flushing helps remove sediment from water mains, maintain water quality, and ensure hydrants and valves are operating properly.

What to expect:
• Signs will be posted in neighborhoods ahead of flushing
• Crews working in the area, please drive carefully
• Temporary water discoloration may occur due to loosened sediment
• Slight changes in water pressure are possible

Helpful tips during flushing:
• Avoid doing laundry or running the dishwasher while flushing is occurring nearby to prevent staining
• If water appears discolored, run cold water until it clears before use
• You may notice a temporary chlorine taste or odor. This will fade within a couple of days
• For drinking water, refrigerating an open container can help reduce chlorine taste faster
• After cold water clears, run hot water briefly to refresh your hot water tank
• If pressure seems low, check faucet screens for sediment
