Calvert County Public Schools will open on a 2-hour delay Monday, Dec. 15, 2025.
• All 12-month administrators, supervisors, and emergency personnel report on time.
• 12-month educational support staff may report up to one hour late.
• School-based Child Nutrition Staff are to follow their approved 2-hour (Unplanned) Late Arrival Schedules. No staff may report prior to 8 a.m.
• The workday for 10- and 11-month employees will begin two hours after their regularly scheduled start time.
• Childcare will open at 7:30 a.m.
• There will be no AM 3-year old Pre-Kindergarten.

Head Start continues to recruit students for our Home Visiting and Center-based programs! Please give us a call at 443-550-8062 for details!

Center-based programs are delivered primarily in a classroom setting. It is held throughout the academic school year from August to June.

The Home Visiting Program is offered through a complete range of services such as home visits, community settings, and field trips. It is a 30-week curriculum, which can start once a child turns 3 years old.
