One week until our Spring Garden Tour!

Join us on Sunday, June 7th for a self-guided tour of six private gardens across Huntington.

Visit and enjoy them at your own pace between 12pm - 4pm, allowing each one to delight and inspire you.

Your ticket includes a stop at our Garden Boutique, located on the grounds of the historic Dr. Daniel W. Kissam House, where we invite you to rest and refresh with sweet treats and cool drinks. A plant and garden treasures sale round out this lovely afternoon. Rain or shine!

Dating back to the colonial era, many Long Island farms raised sheep for wool used in clothing and household textiles. Each spring, farmers sheared sheep by hand using steel blade shears, a scissor-like tool operated manually. Today, sheep are typically shorn with electric clippers, which allow the process to be completed more quickly and efficiently, as demonstrated by the skilled at our Sheep to Shawl festival. πŸ‘
