PEP: The Prevention Empowerment Partnership

PEP: The Prevention Empowerment Partnership PEP is a collaboration of community organizations that partner together to teach on substance misuse PEP conducts quarterly public meetings.

The Prevention Empowerment Partnership (PEP) is a coalition of various agencies, organizations, and individuals working together to reduce local substance misuse with strong collaborative partnerships and community ownership, using awareness, education, and community-wide solutions. PEP is funded by the federal Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program, Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (

CARA) CommunityBased Coalition Enhancement Grant, and a subgrant of the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant administered through the WV Division of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. For more information about PEP, contact Angela Saunders at [email protected].

Calling all Cabell County middle and high school students (grades 6–12)—this is your chance to get creative, share an important message, and win prizes!

Design a poster that encourages others to say no to drinking and driving and always buckle up.
