To improve the economic quality of life for the Huntington community and specifically the Huntington Station hamlet, which is currently underserved. Huntington residents will directly benefit from the services and opportunities offered at the Huntington Opportunity Resource Center, thus ensuring sustainable economic revitalization. Communities thrive when all neighborhoods enjoy economic prosperity. Revitalization efforts in Huntington Station will therefore benefit the greater Huntington community. Through meaningful community development, we seek to reestablish and strengthen Huntington Station’s position as an economic pillar of an evolving and diverse community. The Huntington Opportunity Resource Center will serve as a conduit for economic success. Our top three priorities are job preparedness, job readiness, and the development of life skills. Through the facilitation of information and services, we at the Huntington Opportunity Resource Center expect that empowering residents, small businesses and entrepreneurs alike is a sound investment towards a better and stronger Huntington.
