I grew up in Ashtabula and Conneaut, Ohio from 1979-1986, we then moved to Petersburg, Virginia in 1986 where I remained a resident till 1997 when I moved to Kenova,WV! I remained a resident of Kenova on and off from 1997-2004. Moved to Midland,Texas in 1999 then moved back to Kenova in 2001! Stayed in Kenova till about 2003 then I moved to Dinwiddie,Va to help my mom out. My mother got sick from a stroke in 2003 and moved back here to the Tri state area to be with her daughter. I got married in 2004 where I remained a Huntington resident to this date! I divorced in 2007 and continue to care for my ex-wife, son and step daughter! I have 2 Full Time jobs, I am a full time parent and a caregiver! Even though all of that, I will still find time to serve the residents of District 5! If you want someone that is a visionary, fighter, one that will go after all the resources available to benefit your neighborhood, family, then please Vote for Brian Canter on May 10th! "Out with the old and in with the NEW"! as Martin Luther King Jr would say, Don't judge the person by the color of their skin but by the content of their character! There will be Major decisions that will need to be made these next 4 years! Completion of Northcott Court Demolition, New fire station at 20th street and 9th Ave, Cabell Huntington Hospital catwalk, Huntington Gardens being built, new housing through HHA,Habitat for Humanity, Private Developers to make District 5 a better and safer place to live,eat and shop!! After Northcott Court us demolished it will make room for Major Commercial Development! A new grocery store, restaurants, and other accessible stores for your everyday shopping! At the same time Property value will raise on other properties in the area!! Remember, vote Brian Canter on May 10th for a Change in District 5!
