Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter It's up to us! Unifying & working towards a better Huntington Station! HSLQ is a non-for profit organization appealing to the needs of resident’s of Huntington.

A community organization diversified in services that will be provided to the under privileged, uninformed, and the unrepresented population of Huntington Station. We seek to combine services available throughout the county with initiatives that will help uplift the diverse population through social conditioning, developing the desire to educate and be educated, and in turn make Huntington an exem

plary community. HSLQ will be the central hub to bring people and resources together for a successful lifestyle in Huntington Station and in America. The endeavor of this organization is motivated by key members of the community with decades of history in the community. The target is to be a self sufficient organization developed by the efforts of community members as we believe the solution to our community’s plight is UP TO US. Our goal is to make Huntington Station an appealing community that residents are proud to protect and eager to improve. We will provide an umbrella of hope, a vision of pride, and a map to tackle tough community issues. Through our organization we will create divisions to tackle these stigmas such as:
> Drug Abuse Awareness
> The Undocumented
> Crimes & Violence
> At-risk youth
Other branches will be geared towards recognizing the needs of:
> The aging population
> Victims of Violence & Domestic Violence
> Economic Development
> Healthcare Awareness
> Beautification & Environmental Awareness

🧹Huntington Station Spring Clean-Up 2026 🌿 Community Comes Together 🧹🪏 🙌
The 16th Annual Spring Clean-Up in Huntington Station brought our community together for a powerful day of impact 💚
Volunteers came out to clean and beautify our neighborhood—showing what’s possible when people work together.
From start to finish, this event was all about community pride, connection, and creating a cleaner, more welcoming space for everyone 🌿

🧹THANK YOU to everyone who came out for the 16th Annual Huntington Station Spring Cleanup! 🙌🌱

Nearly 60 volunteers showed up ready to work, covering close to 3 miles in just 90 minutes - an incredible effort by this community 💪

Huge thanks to the Huntington Matters, Palacios Law Group, Huntington Station BID, Quality Island Landscaping, NY Ave Pizza, and all of the volunteers, organizations, and elected officials who helped make the day such a success 👏

It was a great morning filled with energy, teamwork, and a shared goal of keeping Huntington Station looking its best ❤️

🎁 Our 16th Annual Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter 🎄 Holiday 🚂 Toy Drive 🧸 brought Christmas magic 🔔 to 400 children and their families - thanks to the love 🥰, generosity and volunteering 💗 from our incredible community.

THANK YOU to the donors ❤️ who “adopted” each child - fulfilling their wish lists. THANK YOU to community members who put toys 🧩 in our collection boxes for Santa to hand out.

THANK YOU to our army of 💝 Elves who poured their hearts into everything they did to make the day extra special. THANK YOU 🎅🏼 Santa and 🤶🏻 Mrs. Claus for bringing smiles, hugs and joy to all.

Special thanks to the Huntington High School Girl’s Lacrosse Team 🚲, Huntington Manor Fire Department for the 🚒 fire truck and Deputy Inspector Steven Rohde - 🚓 Suffolk County Police Department 2nd Precinct for volunteering.
