Beautiful Saturday in Palos Verdes Estates. Division 1 Senior Secretary Natalie Rauda assisted with the distribution of the provided by Medium truck Driver Luis Gonzales assisted with emergency information,and handed out candies. PVE Police Chief Luke Hellinga along with his Captains volunteered to be in the dunk tank. Firefighters from Station 2 gave hourly tours.

❤️ Christopher Boettcher firefighter engineer was honored at the San Pedro Elks police and firefighter appreciation night. Firefighter Specialist Christopher Boettcher was born and raised in San Pedro. He is currently a SanPedro Elks Member. He leads and trains local crews on Cliff Rescue procedures. He is one of very small selected few qualified to work Catalina Island. Christopher currently lives in San Pedro with his wife and two children. A true Hometown Hero. ¡REGÍSTRATE PARA UN CURSO GRATIS EN ESPAÑOL PARA EQUIPO COMUNITARIO DE RESPUESTA A EMERGENCIAS!

El departamento de bomberos del Condado de Los Ángeles está organizando un curso de equipo comunitario de respuesta a emergencias (CERT en sus siglas en inglés). Este entrenamiento presencial se llevará a cabo durante tres sabádos consecutivos (11, 18, y 25 de Octubre).

We are thankful to the City of Cudahy for the chance to attend their Citizens Academy this past week. Our own Battalion Chief Lewis gave a safety presentation that uplifted our residents. This information encourages our residents to be prepared for any possible incident. City of Cudahy

The City of Lynwood held an appreciation luncheon for their local fire stations that serve them. Councilmembers Lorraine Avila Moore and Luis Gerardo Cuellar representing the Lynwood City Council. The MC was Cece “The Mamacita” Valencia from radio station 93.5 KDAY.
