Before ya'all ask: no, these super strong Santa Ana winds are not good for kite flying! Hoping they turn offshore and mellow a bit for the weekend, but not looking super promising at the moment. Forecast is calling for 15-16mph which usually means 25+ at the beach. However, it is gonna be like 80 plus degrees, and a considerable number of kite partners are escaping snow...so there's that!

Another amazing weekend with some of the greatest humans on earth. KP 21 may have ended but the memories will live on for months. A huge thank you to all of the fliers who come together as a family once a year, and for at least a few days, experience 100% positivity!!! Until next year....KP is a wrap.

All this crazy talk of rain for KP. Those that know, know. For those that don't.... Ya see, here's the thing: even the weather gods know better than to F...mess with Kite Party Karma. As you will plainly see, the rain forecast is for today, tomorrow, and then again Monday. Even mother nature knows that Friday is an unofficial kiting day and will not deliver rain. Even if the weather forecast SAYS it will rain, it won't. Those that have tested or challenged the Kite Party Karma (Mark Reed...think Hawaii) have suffered terrible hardship. There are a few things in this world that you just simply DO NOT mess with, ever. KP is one of them. Don't believe me, just ask those that have. Or if you dare...test it for yourself. Just make sure your will and life insurance are up to date. You have been warned.
