Tennesseans impacted by Winter Storm Fern have one week left to apply for FEMA or SBA disaster assistance.

The deadline is June 10, 2026. FEMA assistance is available for homeowners, renters, and students in approved counties. Support may include:
• Temporary housing
• Home repairs
• Personal property losses
• Medical, dental, transportation, funeral needs
The SBA also offers low‑interest disaster loans to renters and homeowners.

AM CDT...

At 1024 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bruceton, or 9 miles southwest of Camden, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lexington, Huntingdon, Camden, Natchez Trace State Park, Natchez
Trace State Forest, Parsons, New Johnsonville, Bruceton,
Decaturville, Parkers Crossroads, Darden, Wildersville, Hollow Rock,
Clarksburg, Howley, Hillard, Dollar, Busseltown, Jeannette, and
Holladay.

This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 106 and
134.

At 948 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Paris Landing State Park to near Routon to
Sharon. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Paris, McKenzie, Huntingdon, Camden, Paris Landing State Park,
Dresden, Greenfield, New Johnsonville, Bruceton, Gleason, Sharon,
Atwood, Vale, Springville, Routon, Trezevant, Hollow Rock, Big Sandy,

⚠️ There is a Slight Risk (2/5) for severe thunderstorms today into this evening evening over much of the Mid-South. Damaging winds are the main threat with large hail as a secondary threat. Two rounds of storms are expected. The first round will occur this morning into early this afternoon. The second round will occur later this afternoon into this evening.

A Marginal (Level 1/5) Risk for severe storms is in place for Monday throughout the Mid-South. Storms are expected to be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, heavy downpours, and perhaps a few severe hailstones.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. The greatest risk is over northeast Arkansas into northwest Tennessee. Confidence remains low at this time.
