Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) is a classic sci-fi horror film directed by Don Siegel. Set in a quiet California town, local doctor Miles Bennell discovers that his patients' loved ones are being replaced by emotionless, duplicate "pod people" grown from alien plant spores. As the alien conspiracy spreads rapidly, Miles and his partner Becky must race to stay awake and escape before they, too, are replaced.
