Hello and welcome to my campaign page! My name is Gary O'Korn, and I am seeking re-election for Huntingdon County Commissioner by write-in campaign. My wife Paula and I have been Huntingdon residents for 21 years and have raised three children: Kalyn, Mark, and John. I'm an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and enjoy outdoor activities in my spare time. I am a local business owner providing insurance and financial services to the community. I have experience in financial consulting, risk management, and building relationships which have served me well in my tenure as Commissioner. During my four years as Commissioner, we have taken on many projects including criminal justice system analysis, modification of debt, 911 system improvements, design and renovation of county buildings, and involvement on the state and federal level with local legislators. I am seeking re-election because we have been successful in starting many meaningful projects, and I would like to see these projects through to completion for the benefit of the residents of Huntingdon County. I began my journey to re-election in the May Primary. The results of the Republican Primary were incredibly close, and the election was decided by six votes. With much conversation with my supporters and others in the community, I have decided to undertake the challenge of a write-in campaign and I would like to earn your support.
