Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders, service members, volunteers, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the days that followed.

We remember the families who lost loved ones, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together.

We will never forget.

It was a privilege to be part of the ribbon cutting for the Frosty Jones Terminal at Huntingburg Regional Airport yesterday.

As a Chamber, projects like this are what it’s all about; bringing our business community together around a shared vision and supporting investments that strengthen our entire region.

It was incredible to see so many people and organizations come together to celebrate this milestone. A special thank you to everyone who attended, including Governor Mike Braun, Craig Jones, and representatives from INDOT and the FAA.

Congratulations to the Dubois County Airport Authority and everyone who played a role in bringing this vision to life. This is truly something our community can be proud of!

$1,000 for a Dubois County Chamber business
member
$500 for a nonprofit organization serving Dubois
County

These grants are designed to support growth,
innovation, and community impact. Funding can be
used for equipment, facility improvements, marketing,
program expansion, and other projects that help your
organization thrive.

Application Deadline: August 30

To apply, organizations must be current Chamber
members and meet the program's eligibility
requirements.

A New Chapter Takes Flight at Huntingburg Regional Airport!

The Dubois County Chamber of Commerce is proud to join the Dubois County Airport Authority in celebrating the grand opening of the new Frosty Jones Terminal Building!

Monday, August 31
Ribbon Cutting: 9:00 AM
Huntingburg Regional Airport

After 15 years of planning, this $7.2 million project represents an incredible investment in Dubois County's future—supporting local businesses, corporate aviation, economic development, and aviation education for more than 175 students across 9 school corporations and 5 counties.

The terminal also honors Frosty Jones, who founded the original Huntingburg Airport in 1938.

This project truly demonstrates what can happen when our community works together. We are especially grateful to the local manufacturers who donated furniture for the new terminal:

Parking: Please plan to arrive around 8:30 AM. Public parking will be available along the T-hangars, county roads, and designated parking lots. Ramp parking is reserved for official speakers.

The Gift Shop is moving! From August 31 to September 2 our in-person shop will be closed, but you can still order online at www.monasterygiftshop.org and have everything delivered like usual. And once we’re open again, come visit our new location on the south side of the the monastery building, in the space that had previously served as our Alumnae Center. This new spot will be much more accessible to those who are already visiting the church or taking part in a tour, as well as those staying in the Benedictine Hospitality Center for retreats and events. So after our move, be sure to come see the new location for yourself!
