We had some new friends join us for today's Meal in a Mug. We started off reviewing the health and safety tips we learned last week. Chelsea must have been a great teacher because they remembered a lot! Since our recipe called for flour, we learned about different types of flour, how they are different, and why we would use them for a specific recipe. Then we made our pancakes in a mug following our recipe. We ended our class by cleaning up our dishes. Washing dishes and cleaning the food prep area are very important life skills! Thanks so much for joining us!

Tuvimos algunos nuevos amigos que se unen a nosotros para la comida de hoy en una taza. Empezamos revisando los consejos de salud y seguridad que aprendimos la semana pasada. ¡Chelsea debe haber sido un gran maestro porque recordaban mucho! Como nuestra receta requería harina, aprendimos sobre los diferentes tipos de harina, cómo son diferentes y por qué los usaríamos para una receta específica. Luego hicimos nuestros panqueques en una taza siguiendo nuestra receta. Terminamos nuestra clase limpiando nuestros platos. Today's storytime was all about summer, so it only made sense that our craft was a summer sun! We had some creatively colorful suns! We also had a great time playing with the train set, magnetic tiles, bristle blocks, and duplo blocks. We even practiced our cooperation and negotiation skills as well! Thanks so much for joining us!

Huntingburg: We learned a lot about wearing the proper gear while riding a bicycle, e-bike, ATV, and side by side. We also learned some of the laws that keep us safe while using these. After our safety lesson, we went outside to meet some community helpers! It was a great day of learning and we are so grateful to our community helpers for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit with us today!

Fue un gran día de aprendizaje y estamos muy agradecidos con nuestros ayudantes de la comunidad por tomarse tiempo de sus apretados horarios para visitar con nosotros hoy!
