Need some baseball to tide you over until the high school seasons start? Come to League Stadium! Beginning March 3rd, it will be the home field for the Oakland City University Mighty Oaks baseball games for the balance of their season. Currently 15-1, the Oaks have a number of players you may recognize: Conner Oxley (Southridge & Bombers), Weston Allen (Southridge & Bombers), Sam Pinckert (Heritage Hills), JT Smallwood (Heritage Hills), Victor Alvarez (Bombers), Payton Hall (Bombers), Xander Willis (Bombers), and coaches Andy Lasher (Bombers) & Ben Wilcoxsen (Bombers).
There is no charge to attend the games. And the chair back seating will be awesome!

Due to construction delays with the Konkler Complex, the Mighty Oaks baseball team will not be able to use the on-campus baseball field this spring. Great things happening at League Stadium! Prep work has been ongoing to prepare for the upcoming BIG upgrade of new lower level stadium seating! Old seats are out and the floor decking is being replaced. We'll keep you posted on the progress. It's going to be a huge improvement for all games & events at the stadium! Dubois County Bombers

In conjunction with Old Fashioned Bargain Days in Historic Downtown Huntingburg, League Stadium will be the site of a couple of vintage baseball games this Saturday, October 5th. The Indianapolis Blues will be playing with rulebooks from 1860 and wearing vintage uniforms. Games are at Noon & 1:00. More info at www.indyblues.org. Sounds like an opportunity for the gals to shop downtown and the guys go catch an interesting game or two.
