Here are the upgraded graphics from the NWS. Our area is definitely one that is gonna have to be watched today.

But with that being said, can't always take these graphics to heart. Things can change by the hour or storms fire earlier/later than expected. Just make sure to have a way to either receive or monitor weather warnings after 5pm today and we will all be ok!

And if your not already, go follow US National Weather Service Norman Oklahoma for the latest updates. They don't post during severe weather because it gets awful crazy there, but they update anytime graphics change before weather occurs.

Tomorrow is April 1st, so is this gonna actually happen, or???? 🤷‍♂️

Stupid jokes aside, risks seem to be trending up for tomorrow (April 1st). I wouldn't get into a panick by no means just yet, just keep it in mind to check with your local weather man or NWS Tomorrow morning and after lunch for the latest updates.

Currently, it looks like the front will hit us somewhere around 7 or 8 tomorrow morning. It will not take long to get winds sustained in the 30 mph zone and possibly stay there until dark. That's sustained, the gusts are a whole other thing.

If you have burned the last few days, try to check them first thing in the morning, ESPECIALLY if you have any dry vegetation to your south/east.

And in the great words of the NWS, try not to park or hang out under trees tomorrow. Looks like they may take a beating....

The dry line pushed through our area late yesterday afternoon! We can expect some much dryer air today that will raise our fire danger! Tomorrow's fire danger actually looks higher for us as of right now.

Red Flag Warning in effect for today but expect it to be extended through Tomorrow!

I'm sure we don't need to tell you about the Winter Storm Warning with everyone talking about it all week. However, we do have an EXTREME COLD WARNING now for this weekend.

If you look at the NWS's slides, it appears our wind chill factor will fall below zero Friday night or early Saturday morning and stay there until Sunday.

❄️ Winter storms impact everyone, including emergency response.

📋 Preparing ahead of time, limiting travel, and staying weather-aware helps keep you safe and allows first responders to do their jobs when they’re needed most.

Our response teams are ready! Stay safe!
