The agua fria crossing at Prescott st is closed per YCSO. Stay safe in this wet weather!

‼️ The low water crossing at quaterhorse and river rd is CLOSED
‼️ The low water crossing on deer pass is CLOSED
‼️ The low water crossing at the agua fria river is still CLOSED

USE ALTERNATE ROUTES. Turn around don’t drown! Yavapai County Office of Emergency Management issued a flood watch through tomorrow November 19 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff

1:11 p.m. The Agua fria river low water crossing at prescott street is CLOSED - use an alternate route. Drive safe in the rain! 🌧️ turn around and don’t drown

4:15 PM The low water crossing at Prescott street is now open. More rain is expected. After hours, YCSO will close the gates if there is a saftey risk. Public works will open them when safe to do so to clear brush and debris from the crossing path. Flash flooding can happen in an instant. Use caution - turn around, don’t drown!

10:30 AM Agua Fria River is flowing over the low water crossing at Prescott street! Please use an alternate route while we wait for Mother Nature to relax and for crews to clean up debris. Thanks to YCSO for keeping the public safe and closing the gates last night during the storm. Texas Gulch is still flowing and more rain is expected so, please bear with us as the crossing remains closed until the weather lightens up. This post will be updated when the low water crossing is safe to cross. Thank you.

Are you prepared for flooding? Yavapai County provides sand and sandbags for several of our fire stations -- all you need to bring is a shovel!

Prescott Street at the Agua Fria River crossing is now open. Use caution as the water is still about 4 inches deep.

4:00 PM FOOTHILL DRIVE NOW OPEN. USE CAUTION IN THE AREA AS CREWS ARE STILL WORKING.

‼️ The interesection of Foothill and Quarter Horse is closed and will be for about 6 hours while power lines are being repaired. YCSO is on site directing traffic. Avoid the area if possible. Thank you. ‼️INF
