Friends of the Humboldt Auditorium

Friends of the Humboldt Auditorium Support the restoration of the Historic Humboldt, Nebraska Auditorium through fundraising efforts. The Auditorium was built 1941-42 as a WPA project. A.

The $80,000.00 auditorium was constructed in 1941-42 and dedicated on December 9, 1942 as one of the WPA projects. It was constructed of native stone quarried on the O. Cooper Company’s farm south of the town of Humboldt. Many of the workers were hired from the town and surrounding communities.

You are invited to use the Humboldt Auditorium on Saturday May 23 after the alumni banquet.

The Humboldt Auditorium will be open on Saturday for class get togethers and for those that want to look at the renovations. Class of ‘61 has reserved a table. No charge but would appreciate a donation. No alcohol without a liquor license. Need more information contact Linda Dovel 402-862-5605.
