There will not be Garbage or Recycling pick up on Monday, September 7, 2026 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday.

Garbage and Recycling Pick up will take place on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The Office of the Borough Manager will also be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday.

🚨🚨Hughestown Borough Council will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 to inform residents and vote on a "Bulk Conveyance Agreement" with the City of Pittston. The meeting will be held at the Hughestown Hose Company (30 Center Street Hughestown, PA 18640) at 6pm.
