In case you see this....

If you see a helicopter flying relatively low with a large, hexagonal-shaped hoop hanging below, don’t be alarmed! It’s all part of a special survey being conducted by the USGS and EGLE to map the region’s aquifers and geology. The data will improve USGS bedrock maps and inform the County's groundwater management efforts.

We are in need of two people or two kids capable of carrying the Jamestown Memorial Day Parade banner on Monday at 10 a.m. The parade route starts at Jamestown Baptist Church and ends at the Riley Street Middle School.

FYI Jamestown Residents:

Jamestown Charter Township has a Peddler’s Ordinance which requires that Peddlers submit an application and get a license from the Township office. Our Sheriff’s Deputies are notified of all licenses that are granted.

For those interested, our ordinance states that a peddler may not go on “any property or approach any dwelling, building or other structure where a sign has been posted (which is clearly visible) that states “No Trespassing”, “No solicitation”, or contains a similar message.”

WHAT A GREAT DUMPSTER DAY!

Thank you everyone who came to Jamestown Community Park on Saturday to get rid of junk! Way to keep our community clean.

Also, thank you to Huntington Bank for providing treats - they were appreciated. And to our Sheriff's Deputies for their help.
