Registration is now open for Breaking Ni****ne’s Grip: A Two-Part Series for Providers. This upcoming webinar series is designed for healthcare providers working with adolescents who v**e or use ni****ne pouches, with a focus on early identification, counseling, and treatment of youth ni****ne use. The series is free, and while it is geared toward healthcare providers, all are welcome to attend.
Participants may register for one session or attend both sessions for a more comprehensive learning experience. The series will be held from 12:00–1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23 and Wednesday, October 14.
Part 1: A Framework for Providers will cover youth ni****ne trends, screening and assessment, validated dependence tools, counseling strategies, and the provider’s role in early intervention using local supports and AAP resources.
Part 2: Pharmacotherapy for Youth To***co & Ni****ne Cessation will focus on evidence-based pharmacotherapy for adolescent ni****ne cessation, safety considerations, treatment options, and case-based strategies for shared decision-making and follow-up.
