A change is due when brand new Camaros are called kustoms and rat rods are considered traditional. We aspire to blend traditional cars with traditionally inspired cars, rods and kustoms alike. A bitchin car is a bitchin car whether its rolling on bias plys or eighteens and in todays world, where the after-market has embraced tradition, the line between past and present is blurred. No longer does a

car have to be all vintage parts, to have traditional appeal. Good taste, good design and good engineering with respect for the past... a higher standard of tradition, thats krome 'n kandy. This Traditional & Traditionally Inspired Kustom and Hot Rod show will be packed with exciting events! The show will be located in the beautiful Lakefront Park of Hudson, WI right on the St. Croix River across the street from their historic downtown boasting amazing restaurants, shops, and more. Featuring fun for young and old, Krome 'n Kandy is excited to share with you pre-70 Kustoms and Hot Rod, Motorcycles, Boats, and Campers as well as Vendors and Swappers. Also featuring activities such as a Pinewood Derby competition, Pedal Car and Vintage Bicycle Drags, '60's themed skit competition, and the epic Beach Party with Live music by The Dyes (Chicago), Ross Kleiner & the Thrill (MPLS), and more TBD as well as Flames on the Water (flame throwing)

This is a BYOB event. Alcohol is allowed through most of the park except on the beaches (Beach party will be held on the sand volleyball court where alcohol will be permitted). Pudges Bar/Liquor store is one block up from the grounds on 2nd and Wisconsin St and Casanova Liquors (with an amazing selection of local beer) is located a few blocks up on 2nd and Coulee Rd.

• 12:00 am - Show Closed. Saturday Aug 2nd
• 10:00 am - Gates Open
• 10:30-11:30 am – Pinewood Derby Check-in
• 12:30 pm - Pinewood Derby Races
• 2:00 pm - Pedal Car and Vintage Bicycle Drags
• 4:30 pm - Awards
• 6:30 pm – Epic Beach Party! (Live Bands, Top Skit, Flames on the Water)

Well it's another fun year of Krome 'n Kandy done and over...but not forgotten! We dance in the rain and slip 'n slide down the hill. Nothing will stop the Krome 'n Kandy crew from having a great time!!! We had beautiful cars, some weekend vintage campers, and even a saucer boat. Also, great food and vendors in an amazing park of the really fun town, Hudson, WI. I want to thank our sponsors, Twin Cities Rod and Custom, Pudge's Bar, Kary Kustoms, Pipes 'n Stripes, The Works Custom Car Shop, Magic Customs, Mike Hovland Pinstriping, and Vinyl Lux Sewing and Upholstery.
