Last holiday downtown Hudson was the feature location for two Hallmark films. We are waiting to hear about the premier dates for the two movies that were filmed in Hudson last winter. Watch for
details to follow in the upcoming weeks.

Buena Vista A Stroll in the Park

The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau debuted Buena Vista, a tree-lighting event in Lakefront Park, which began with a visit from Santa on November 29, 2019. We are looking forward to presenting this event for the
third year. Sponsored donations are allocated to purchase lighting displays and holiday decorations for annual use, maintenance, and storage.

Help us continue to brighten Hudson during the holidays by becoming a sponsor for this year and future seasons. We are working to add more lights, decorations, and activities that everyone can enjoy in the park and we need your help.
All donations go directly to the program.

The St. Croix County Historical Society
Vintage & Variety Yard Sale September 16-18

The St. Croix County Historical Society will host its annual Vintage
& Variety Yard Sale Fundraiser Thursday through Saturday,
September 16-18, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The sale will take
place on the lawn and porch of the Octagon House Museum at
1004 3rd Street in Hudson. The sale will be held rain or shine.
This unique sale features items donated by Historical Society
members and the community for an eclectic collection, including
vintage pieces, antiques, furniture, linens and more.
Please call in advance to discuss any potential donations, as
we are strictly judging all donations this year. Clothing, large
appliances, baby items, computers and sports/exercise equipment
will not be accepted.

The Hudson Hometown Music Fest on
Saturday, September 11 in Lakefront Park

The Hudson Hometown Music Fest, a family-friendly day of music
hosted by the Hudson Lions Club, will be Saturday, September
11, noon – 11:00 p.m., in Lakefront Park in downtown Hudson.
Admission is free.
The event will showcase talented musicians in the Hudson and
Twin Cities area with bands including Boondoggle, Hell Kat,
Goodbye Sun, Crabgrass, Heart Breaker and Trandy Blue. The
music schedule includes country, blues, folk, classic and current
rock and roll. In addition to the free music, the fest will host a 9/11
Patriotic Salute at 3 p.m.
Food and beverages will be for sale, including pizza, BBQ, wine,
seltzer, craft beer and soda. Lots of family-friendly activities,
including bubble entertainment by The Bubbler and face painting
will round out the offerings. A silent auction and wine pull will
be held with proceeds donated to Gigi’s Playhouse, a Down
syndrome achievement center in Hudson.

Celebrate the Holidays is looking a little different this year due to COVID. We are still offering fun this year downtown.

WINDOW DECORATING CONTEST: This year the public will vote on their favorite decorated business windows.

FIND SANTA: As in years past, Children will visit participating businesses through out the month - November 15th through December 15th to spot Santa. When they find Santa, the business will sticker the child's "Find Santa in Hudson" passport. The children then turn in their passports at ONSITE APPAREL for the chance to win prizes. Passports can be picked up at participating retailers.

LIGHT UP NIGHT: Santa will be standing under the Hudson Arch this year waving to families as they drive by. 6:00-7:30 pm TONGIHT.

BUENA VISTA: Lakefront Park will be lit-up starting with the "Light Up Night" celebrations through February 7, 2021. There will be photo ops in the park to be used by families and friends throughout the holiday.
