𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞

Please join the Hudson Fire Department on September 11th at 5:30 PM at Benson Park for our Annual Firefighters Memorial Service.

This solemn tradition brings our department and community together to honor the firefighters who have served and continue to serve Hudson, while remembering James A. Taylor, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It is a time to reflect on their courage, dedication, and the lasting contributions they bring to our community.

Following this service, the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Observance will begin at 6:30 PM. Together, we will remember the lives lost, honor the first responders who answered the call, and reflect on the events that forever changed our nation.

We invite the community to join us for these meaningful observances.

🚒 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝟮 𝗣𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁! 💦

The final inspection of Tower 2 is well underway at Seagrave Fire Apparatus. The apparatus is being carefully inspected and put through its paces, including this impressive water-flow test from the fully extended 95-foot aerial.

We are excited to share this first look at Tower 2 in action and can’t wait for our community to see more.

🚒 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝟮 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲!

Things are going well as Chief Tice and Deputy Chief Enos continue the final inspection of Tower 2 at Seagrave Fire Apparatus. They are carefully reviewing the apparatus, its systems and its many features to ensure everything is ready before it makes its way home to Hudson.

📣𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝟮 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆!

Enjoy this timelapse look at the production of Tower 2 as it progresses from the early stages of construction to a nearly completed apparatus. 🚒

✈️ This morning, Chief Tice and Deputy Enos are on their way to Seagrave Fire Apparatus to complete the final inspection.

We are anticipating an early October delivery and cannot wait to welcome Tower 2 to Hudson, and show you everything this impressive new apparatus has to offer.

The purchase of Tower 2 was made possible through exaction fees associated with the Target development project, supporting this important investment in Hudson’s emergency response capabilities.

🎉 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲! 🎉

On top of recently earning his Certified Public Manager credential and Chief Fire Officer designation, he has now achieved his Executive Fire Officer certification through the National Fire Academy.

The Executive Fire Officer (EFO) Program provides a unique residential professional development opportunity for senior-level fire and emergency medical services leaders. During the EFO Program, participants gain leadership skills they can use to strengthen their organization and help make their community more resilient.

Participants in EFO Program represent a diverse group of federal, state, local, territorial, tribal, and private sector fire and EMS leaders, from career and volunteer organizations, who become enhanced decision-makers and innovative collaborators.

Acceptance into the internationally recognized EFO Program is through a competitive selection process. During the multi-year program, participants gain knowledge from experienced instructors and nationally recognized experts. They also learn from each other by discussing relevant issues and complex problems while exploring frameworks and strategies to enhance their own leadership skills, their organization's mission and needs, and their community's expectations.

Through our partnership with the Hudson NH Lions Club, we were happy to provide one lucky winner with a very special ride to school this morning aboard Ladder 2! Not only did she win, but her sister was able to join her for the adventure—making the morning twice as much fun! 🎉

Today, off-duty members of the Hudson Fire Department are volunteering their time on behalf of the Professional Firefighters of Hudson, Local 3154, to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) during their August Boot Drive!

🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Keep an eye out if you are traveling through the area as the they will be out collecting donations in their boots to help support individuals and families affected by muscular dystrophy.
