Carolyn Bater - Lenawee County Register of Deeds

Carolyn Bater - Lenawee County Register of Deeds Currently Serving as Register of Deeds in Lenawee County She has been a dedicated employee of the Register of Deeds Office since 1989.

Prior to being appointed Register on April 11, 2012 to complete the 2012 term, Carolyn was the Deputy Register for 15 years, filling in for the Register in her absence. Starting as a Clerk Typist, Carolyn was first promoted to Assistant Register in 1992, and then later promoted to Deputy Register of Deeds in 1997.

Not sure where to begin other then a BIG THANK YOU! Want to thank Mugs N' More Imaging for their awesome job on the signs and t-shirts. Also want to thank everyone that has supported me thru my campaign, whether it was walking in a parade, distributing signs, your vote in the primary, monetary donations to my campaign fund or moral support. It has been a very busy 7 months and I greatly appreciate everyones help and support. Also a huge THANK YOU goes out to my Family, Friends & Co-Workers for putting up with me during this busy time of my life!

ADRIAN, Mich. --Bater was sworn in immediately after a three-member committee voted for her appointment Wednesday afternoon. Bater was the only applicant for the appointment. She is also the only candidate so far to file for the countywide office this year.
