On Friday, the Town of Troy Fire truck joined the 343 Run to honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

We remember their courage, their sacrifice and the families and communities forever changed that day.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🚴 Keep an eye out for cyclists in the Town of Troy today!

The 2026 Autumn Trek is happening today, and several of the routes will bring riders through our beautiful Town of Troy countryside.

If you’re out and about, please keep an extra eye out for cyclists, give them a little extra room on the roads, and help us give them a warm Town of Troy welcome! 👋

It’s a great day to show off our community and some of the beautiful scenery we’re lucky to call home.

Safe travels to everyone riding today — enjoy the Trek! 🚴🍂

The Autumn Trek is River Valley Trail's annual ride, with various challenges available.

Reminder: Troy Board Chairperson Doug Rowen will be available tomorrow, September 12, from 8:00–11:00 a.m. at Troy Town Hall for an informal conversation with residents.

Stop by if you have questions, concerns, or just want to talk about what is happening in Troy and where we are headed.

Some of the questions worth thinking about include:

• Do you want Troy to have a voice in how property annexed to Hudson or River Falls is developed?

• Do you want to preserve Troy’s rural character and farmland?

• Should commercial traffic primarily stay on Hwy 35 and county roads rather than rural and residential roads?

• Should commercial development be concentrated and buffered from residential areas rather than scattered throughout the town?

• Do you prefer single-family homes over apartment buildings and multi-family housing?

• Should Hudson or River Falls have the ability to limit how you develop, subdivide, or build on your property to Troy standards?

These are important conversations about the future of Troy, and we hope you’ll stop by.
