PUBLIC NOTICE!! DO NOT OPEN THE HEADGATE TO THE DITCH. The Wise Ditch Headgate was put in place to water the trees in Hudson. The Town pays for this water each year. With the ongoing lack of moisture, the headgate is closed to enable the farms and ranches down the line to be able to access the water they need. Only the following individuals are authorized to access the headgate and ditch: Wise Ditch employees, water shareholders (Rancher/Farmer), or a Town of Hudson employee. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE HEADGATE.

The Fremont County Association of Governments, through the Regional Ambulance Service Evaluation Committee, invites residents and community stakeholders to complete a public survey regarding the current and future provision of ground ambulance service in Fremont County.

The purpose of the survey is to gather public input on community experiences, service expectations, rural and frontier coverage, response reliability, funding considerations, workforce needs, and possible service delivery models. Responses will help inform the Committee’s evaluation and future recommendations.

Because Fremont County includes communities with different geographic conditions, population patterns, and service needs, the Committee is seeking input from residents across the county, including incorporated communities, rural areas, frontier areas, and tribal communities.

The survey takes approximately 8 to 12 minutes to complete and will remain open through May 20, 2026.

Residents and community stakeholders may complete the survey through the homepage of www.fcagwy.gov or directly at:
https://forms.cloud.microsoft/g/Gdf3vc1fXa

Participants are asked to submit only one response per person. Respondents should not include private medical information, patient names, or other personally identifiable information in written responses.

Please help share this survey.

Sometime during the evening of Monday, May 11, a resident reported someone speeding around and discovered they had struck a fire hydrant, hitting it hard enough to break it below the ground. This hydrant replacement is going to cost the town, and in turn the residents, over $9,000. If you have any information or idea of who may have hit it, please contact the Fremont County Sheriff's Office.
