🚒🔥 Brush Fire Response 🔥🚒

FR/B7, FR/B7A, FR/AT7, FR/T7, FR/W7, FR/B1, FR/B8, FR/T8, and FR/DOZ14 responded to assist Huddleston Fire with an out-of-control brush fire.

Brush 10A, Attack 10, and Wagon 10 responded alongside our mutual-aid partners to help get the fire under control. Through the hard work, teamwork, and dedication of everyone on scene, the fire was successfully brought under control and all crews were able to return home safely. 🚒💪

We’re proud to work alongside our neighboring departments when the call comes in. This is what teamwork and mutual aid are all about! 🤝🔥

What a wonderful evening on August 22, 2026! The SML Boomer Band Fundraiser brought our community together for a great cause. We’re grateful for the support of the Saunders Auxiliary in supporting SVFC-10 and for everyone who helped make this event such a success! ❤️🚒🎶

On August 23, 2026 at 10:47 PM, Company 10 (1st due) was dispatched to provide assistance to Squad 7 for a fall requiring a lift assist on Tolers Ferry Rd, Huddleston.

On August 20, 2026 at 10:25 AM, Company 10 was dispatched to Skyway Drive in Moneta for a reported gas odor. Upon arrival, Company 10 investigated and determined the source to be a low-volume propane leak. The propane provider was contacted and en route. After confirming the scene was stable with no immediate hazards, it was declared safe and Company 10 cleared the scene.

On August 17, 2026, at approximately 5:15 PM, Company 10 (2nd due) was dispatched to High Point Rd, Moneta for a vehicle fire threatening a structure/building. Company 10 marked up and en route when Command 8 Duty Officer advised that Company 8 (1st due) was able to handle the incident. All additional companies were subsequently released from the call.

On 08/15/2026 at 7:14 PM, Company 10 (1st due) responded to a fire alarm on Gross Point Drive in Huddleston. Upon arrival, the firefighters investigated, and it was determined the alarm was activated from an outside grill entering the residence. No fire or hazards were found, and the scene was cleared.
