Thank you to everyone who came out last night to make Fall Fest a success! Many thanks to those who volunteered their time, donated prizes, and shared their chili cooking talents.

Despite the weather, our Fall Festival is still on! We will be moving events indoors but we will still have a great time. Please come out and support the FLAA and enjoy food, fun, games and music with your neighbors!

This Saturday is the FLAA Fall Festival from 3:30- midnight. If you're participating in the chili cookoff, let me know so we can get a rough idea of how much chili we will have. The chili will be free, but there will be additional food and beverages available for purchase.
We are still looking for volunteers to help with set up, clean up, serving food, etc. I know the sign up sheet I sent via e-mail isn't working, but feel free to send me an e-mail, and I can fill in your name.
Looking forward to a fun day with friends and neighbors!

I apologize for the delay, but last week’s meeting minutes will be sent out tomorrow evening. There are documents that need to be scanned & attached & we are having scanning issues.

Mark your calendars! The annual FLAA Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, September 19th from 3:30 pm-midnight. Please note this date is different from the original date stated in the most recent meeting agenda due to a scheduling conflict at the fire hall.
Join your neighbors for a fun afternoon and evening filled with activities for both young and old. More details to come & we will be in need of volunteers to help make this event a success.

Fantastic News! The boat launch is now open for FLAA members & eligible members who have paid the yearly $100 launch access fee. Please check your e-mail for launching instructions as we want this to go as smoothly as possible for launch users & launch neighbors. If you still need to pay your dues or your launch access fee you can do so on the FLAA website. Below are some reference photos for launching.

If you see George Lessmann or John Phillips, please thank them. They have volunteered to do the twice a day watering at the boat launch. Thank you to you both for helping the lake community!

Good morning! Looks like the grass at the launch site is already growing. We will be diligently watering it during this week’s heat wave. Have a good Monday, neighbors 😎

Good evening, I will provide updates on the status of the boat launch as they become available. Unfortunately, we are not able to use the launch at this time. We are aiming for sometime in August. We were left with much more ground repair than we anticipated, and we need to adhere to the DNR requirements of our permit. Once we knew what was required of us, we acted that same day, planting grass seed and laying straw over the site. A huge thank you to the team who mobilized at the last minute to do this: Mark and Janna Knueppel, Sam Chase, Will Klotz, Ward Melville, John Phillips, and Kris and Bonnie Johnson. We have installed watering equipment at the site, and the board members are watering the site daily to help foster vegetation growth. We do ask that people try to avoid walking, biking or driving over the site, so the grass can grow.
