Join us for our Valentine's Day event with the ponies at Carriage Hill MetroPark Riding Center! Youth, ages 2 to 17, can have their picture taken with our ponies and decorate a Valentine to take home. Snacks and hot chocolate will be available. Program Fee: $20

We are hosting two dates: Saturday, February 14 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. AND Sunday, February 15 from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m.

Getting the horses out for a few hours to stretch their legs after the winter storm! Horses and ponies had some time in the indoor arena on Monday and got to get some fresh, although cold air yesterday and today. They enjoyed being outside!

We have some new faces at Carriage Hill MetroPark Riding Center! Wally and Goliath were generously donated to us. And we purchased Phantom from a local farm. They have added a lot of fun and personality to our barn! Come say hi when you are out for a visit 🐴

After the winter weather this weekend, the horses were enjoying a milder morning today🐴 (Sam was busy visiting the ponies on the way out, so is not pictured🙂)

There are some space still left for the 2 to 3 p.m. Halloween Pony Rides at the Carriage Hill MetroPark Riding Center this Saturday, Oct. 25. Pre-registration is required; admission is collected upon arrival to the Riding Center. Our ponies will be all dressed up for Halloween and kids are encouraged to do the same: https://www.metroparks.org/programs-events-finder/?program_number=U193&api=programs&type=program

A shuttle will be provided from the Visitor's Center to the Riding Center and Dogs for Dogs will be on site serving up lunch starting at 11 a.m.

Before or after you experience, head to the historical farm and BYO apples! We're pressing them for you to create apple cider the ol' fashioned way!

It's going to be a fun day this Saturday at Carriage Hill MetroPark! The ponies will be dressed up and read to greet kiddos during Halloween Pony Rides, which require pre-registration this year.
