Hubbard has many things to offer including the only public pool in Hill County, five municipal lakes, and many beautiful Victorian era homes. The City of Hubbard started as a ranching community and was adjacent to the "Cow Head Trail" and Hubbard is now working on helping with the process of designating the Chisholm and Western Trails. In the early 1900's Hubbard became predominately a farming community, also hosted mineral baths that were used for remedial remedies.

The City of Hubbard has issued a boil water notice on September 06, 2026, following a water system break .

Bring all water intended for drinking, cooking, or ice making to a vigorous rolling boil for at least two minutes.

Allow the boiled water to cool completely before using it for consumption or brushing teeth.

Alternatively, use purchased bottled water for drinking and cooking needs.

There will be an interruption of water service due to a repair located on south west third. Crews are on scene working diligently and will repair asap.

Water plant is back online we are currently filling, and pressuring up and flushing air out of the lines. Should be back to normal shortly.

Update: we appoligize for the inconvenience but due to the situation this morning and continuous power surges the water plant is down due to a blown transformer that powers the water plant and the secondary water supply has been affected also. Crews are working diligently.
