Unfortunately, phone lines and internet are currently down at City Hall. We apologize for any inconvenience and will notify when repairs are complete.

05/13/2026

The City of Hubbard is beginning to go live with the first section of the new water lines on the northwest side of town.

The lines have been sanitized in accordance with American Water Works Association (AWWA) guidelines and thoroughly flushed. Water samples were taken approximately every 1,000 feet along the line, and all samples have returned safe for consumption and have been submitted to TCEQ.

If you are still experiencing a strong odor or smell in your water, we recommend opening an exterior faucet and allowing your lines to flush for a short period of time.

We appreciate your patience and support as we continue improving Hubbard’s water infrastructure.

🚨 City of Hubbard – Water Service Restored 🚨

Residents,

Water service has now been restored following the earlier line break. Thank you for your patience while repairs were completed.

As service returns to normal, you may notice air in the lines, which can cause sputtering or cloudy water. This is expected—please allow your faucets to run for a few minutes until the water clears.

⚠️ Boil Water Notice Still in Effect ⚠️
The Boil Water Notice remains in effect until further notice. All water used for drinking, cooking, or ice making should continue to be boiled for at least two (2) minutes before use, or you may use bottled water from an approved source.

We will notify the public as soon as the notice is lifted.

Thank you again for your patience and cooperation.

Residentes,

Residents,

A major water line has been hit, and water service to the town is currently OFF while crews work to make repairs. The City is actively addressing the issue, and service is expected to be restored within approximately one (1) hour.

Once water service is restored, customers may experience air in the lines, which can cause sputtering or cloudy water. This is normal—please allow your faucets to run for a few minutes until the water clears.

What you need to do:

Bring all water intended for drinking, cooking, or ice making to a vigorous rolling boil for at least two (2) minutes
Allow water to cool before use
