💙 Happy National Rehabilitation Awareness Week! 💙

This week, we celebrate the incredible power of rehabilitation and the dedicated professionals who help our residents regain strength, confidence, and independence.

We’re proud to partner with Ascendra Therapy to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy to our residents. To our therapists and all of the interdisciplinary team members who support every step of the journey, thank you for your compassion, expertise, and commitment to helping our residents reach their goals. 💙

It’s amazing what a little imagination can do! 🍂🎃

Give our residents some paint, a few puzzle pieces, leaves, pipe cleaners, and whatever else we have laying around—and watch the creativity happen!

Simple supplies can become pretty amazing things when you add a little imagination, a little fall inspiration, and a whole lot of fun. 🧡🍁

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the strength and resilience that emerged in the face of tragedy.

We are grateful for the first responders, military members, healthcare professionals, and everyday citizens whose courage and compassion continue to inspire us.

As we remember this day, may we also take a moment to cherish our loved ones, support one another, and carry forward the spirit of kindness, service, and unity.

We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙

We may be a few days late with our Labor Day post, but there’s a reason for that… we were too busy enjoying our picnic and didn't take many pictures! 😂❤️

Labor Day is about recognizing hard work, and when you spend your days at Elmwood, you’re surrounded by it.

Our residents have spent their lives working. They raised children, supported families, built homes, held jobs, ran businesses, cared for others and gave so much of themselves to the people and communities around them.

Every resident has a story. A life they built. A career they worked hard for. A family they loved. A lifetime of accomplishments that deserves to be remembered and celebrated. ❤️

Today, they are part of the Elmwood family, and our staff have the privilege of caring for them, spending time with them and helping make this chapter of their lives a good one.

We celebrated Labor Day together with a picnic! A HUGE thank you to our wonderful dietary staff, who prepared an amazing meal of BBQ kielbasa, Augratin potatoes, corn and coleslaw. It was delicious! ❤️

We didn’t get many pictures, but we did get full plates, happy residents, smiling staff and a whole lot of good conversation. 😂

And really, what better way to celebrate Labor Day than surrounded by people who have spent their lives working hard and those caring for others and making a difference?

Here’s to the people who built the past, the people caring for the present, and the community we’re continuing to build together at Elmwood. 🇺🇸❤️

Happy Labor Day!

Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and compassion of the incredible people who make our communities stronger.

To our nurses, caregivers, therapists, dietary staff, housekeeping, maintenance, administration, social workers, and every team member who helps make Inspira feel like home, thank you. Your commitment to providing exceptional care and enriching the lives of our residents does not go unnoticed.

We also want to recognize the many residents who spent years serving their communities through their own careers, building the foundation for future generations.

Today, we honor the work you've done, the lives you've touched, and the difference you continue to make every day. ❤️🤍💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Hayes family for the touching handwritten note and bouquet of flowers. They gave us permission to share their kind words that truly mean the world to all of us here at Elmwood. For those of you who may not know, Mary Hayes was a resident with us for 10 special years, and we loved her as our own.
