“Serving With Honor” The Huachuca City Police Department (HCPD) was established in 1958 Mission Statement The Huachuca City Police Department (HCPD) will provide effective and efficient comprehensive public safety services and activities to the citizens of Huachuca City and all who we come in contact with. HCPD will continue its legacy of “Service with a Smile” and extend this legacy by “Serving with Honor”. This is accomplished by performing our duties with the utmost character, competence, integrity and open and honest communication. Vision Statement It is the vision of HCPD to further the acquisition of relevant training and equipment necessary to provide professional up to date law enforcement for our community and everyone we come in contact with. HCPD shall enhance the established partnership that has and will continue to benefit our community. This is accomplished with an emphasis on Teamwork within our community and all acquainted with our community. HCPD is committed to the protection of your life and your property. The preservation of community peace, order, and safety shall be a priority by upholding the lawful and justified enforcement of the Constitution of the United States, Arizona Revised Statute and Huachuca City Local Codes, in a fair and impartial manner to all.
Mission Statement: Huachuca City Animal Control Officers are dedicated to saving the lives of at risk animals. We provide temporary shelter at appropriate facilities for stray, abandoned, confiscated, and voluntary surrender of animals. We work towards finding suitable permanent homes if needed. To advance animal welfare protection for all animals we encounter. We champion best practices in prevention, sheltering, and placement of companion animals. We shall focus on the protection of animals in our care. o Supporting Animal Welfare Act o Operation focused on ‘best practices’ for companion animal welfare & care while adhering to guidelines, policy and procedure. o Safest environment for housing & placement of companion animals o Utilize our Volunteers to the advantage of our companion animals. Vision Statement: The vision of The Huachuca City Animal Control Officers is that all animals shall treated with respect and kindness. Our core values are to provide programs and services to the community, which includes but are not limited to the following: o Humane treatment and care for all of our companion animals o Protection from and prevention of abuse and neglect for all of our companion animals o Promoting informed and responsible ownership of all of our companion animals o Protecting public health and safety relating to companion animals o Promoting the continued health and safety of employees and visitors. o Current Registration and Immunization for all our dogs and cats.
