The Livingston County Board of Commissioners meets this evening, Monday, September 14, 2026. The meeting will take place in the Board Chambers located at 304 E. Grand River in Howell. The County Clerk Elections & Vital Records will be raising funds for United Way this Thursday, September 17th. Please come see us at the Historic Courthouse in downtown Howell and together we can support this great organization within our community.

The Election's Division will be closed this morning while we conduct post-election audits of the August 4, 2026 Primary Election. We will be auditing Oceola Township Precinct 6 Early Voting at 9:15 a.m. followed by Genoa Township Precinct 2 Election Day and Absent Voter Counting Board. Both audits will take place at the respective township halls and the public is invited to attend.

The Livingston County Clerk's Vital Records and Elections divisions at the historic courthouse downtown are open today.

The Circuit Court Clerk division at the Judicial Center continues to have no power and is closed until Tuesday.

The Livingston County Clerk's office will be closed today, Thursday, September 3rd due to power outages. The Circuit Court office, Vital Records, and Elections are all affected by this.

The historic courthouse offices are closed until further notice due to power outages.

The Elections Division will be closed tomorrow morning, Thursday, August 20th, for a Livingston County Clerk's Association meeting. The office will resume normal operations immediately following the meeting.

The Livingston County Board of Commissioners is holding a Special Meeting Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Board Chambers located at 304 E. Grand River in Howell. The public is invited to attend in person or remotely. The purpose of the Special Meeting is to interview and consider nominations and appointment for the vacant District 3 County Commissioner term. The Board of Canvassers certified the results of the August 4th Primary Election a short time ago. Official results will be posted soon using the link below. Canvassers will reconvene tomorrow, August 12th at 9:30 a.m. to complete the remaining work necessary in order to close the canvass of this election.
