Howe Fire Department The Howe Fire Department is a group of extremely dedicated and highly trained professionals committed to serving our community.

The Howe Fire covers 69.9 square miles of coverage, with an ISO rating of 5. We currently have 2 stations and provide fire suppression, rescue operations, Basic Life Support and community education.

A Tornado Watch has been issued for Grayson County until 11pm on March 10th.

A watch means conditions are favorable for storms to produce a tornado. HAVE A PLAN TO SHELTER IF NECESSARY. HAVE MULTIPLE WAYS TO RECEIVE WARNINGS. STAY WEATHER AWARE.

12 PM UPDATE! Strong to severe storms are expected this afternoon and evening. Isolated severe storms will be possible across the entire forecast area, with more scattered coverage possible along and north of a line from Graham to the DFW Metroplex to Canton. The environment will support all modes of severe weather, including a couple tornadoes, hail over 2" in diameter, and damaging wind gusts. Flash flooding will become a threat if storms train over the same areas. Ensure you have multiple ways to receive warning information today!
