As we reflect on our graduates from the Class of 2026, we were able to see some of the creations they made in their English 12 class. They were reading through Oedipus the King, and were tasked with making a mask to reflect the reading. There were some amazing masks created for sure!

Our English department held a March is Reading Month Contest for all high school students, and the winners received a new book of their choice.

The students had to write a short paper on what they have read in the last year that had an impact on them. They had to following guidelines to use when writing:

*Focus on Impact: Why did this book matter to you?
*Show, don't tell: Use specific quotes or scenes as examples
*One page means concise: Choose your strongest points
*Make it visual: Consider using graphics, colors, or layouts that reflect the book's mood or themes.

Five winners were chosen from grades 9-11 and two winners were chosen from grade 12. Attached are the winning students projects and the books that they chose.

Tomorrow is our Class of 2026’s last day at TCHS. Seniors have a special schedule for the day that ends with a required graduation practice.
We have emailed the schedule and several announcements and reminders this week to seniors and their parents so please make sure that you are regularly checking your email.
Senior poster prints for sale and yearbook details were emailed this week as well. You can see the images at the link below or in the cafetorium tomorrow morning during cap and gown distribution. Prints are $20 and framed prints are $40. Monies raised are used to buy new frames and make more prints. See Mrs. Dollberg in the cafetorium tomorrow or stop in the office to purchase a picture (cash or check).
