The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service improves Texans’ lives by delivering innovative science-based solutions and education at the intersection of health, agriculture and environment in communities across the state. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Prairie View A&M University- Cooperative Extension Program are sister organizations that serving Texas citizens through the application

of research-based education. The second Morrill Act of 1890 provided the opportunity for 1890 land-grant institutions to strengthen research, extension, and teaching to under-served audiences. The Prairie A&M University- Cooperative Extension Service has a mission to respond to the needs of under-served Texans through life-changing opportunities that empower families, promote agriculture, strengthen communities, and foster leadership development in youth. The 56th Annual Harris County Vegetation Management Conference will be held in January 2026 at two separate locations. Attendees may earn 5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to stay in compliance with the Texas Department of Agriculture. These CEUs are available for current, licensed pesticide applicators.
