Public access to legal information is a critical component of open and equal access to the justice system. The Hainsworth Law Library’s mission is to provide all of its patrons access to relevant, current,

In honor of Military Awareness Month, the Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library proudly recognizes our Senior Investigator, Godfrey Eta, for his longstanding commitment to public service and safety. ✨

From serving honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard (1987–1995) to continuing his public service as a Deputy Sheriff after relocating to Houston, Godfrey has dedicated his career to safeguarding and supporting others.

Today, he brings that same dedication to our law library, where he works diligently to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our staff and patrons. 🩵

The Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library hosted the "Regulated to Win CLE: Cognitive Function, Decision-Making, and Professional Responsibility," featuring guest speaker Danielle Andisa Johnson, founder of the The Inner Calm Academy. ✨

The Harris County Robert W. Hainsworth Law Library Director, Andre Davison, attended the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SEAALL) Conference as a featured panelist in the session, "From Partners to Pathways: Building Law School & Law Firm Collaborations to Advance Access to Justice." ⚖️

He joined an exceptional panel alongside Avery Le, Director of the Gwinnett County Homer M. Stark Law Library, and J. Hamilton McCoy II, Director of the Duke Civil Justice Clinic at the Duke University School of Law, to discuss how collaborative partnerships can expand legal access and strengthen community impact. 🤝

We are honored to be part of conversations that continue to advance innovation, outreach, and access to justice. Thank you to SEAALL for creating space for these meaningful discussions and connections.
