This past Sunday at our final Torah Circle, we witnessed a beautiful life lesson right before our eyes.

The children were building towers, seeing how high they could make them. Eventually, one tower grew so tall that it came tumbling down.

But the most meaningful part wasn’t the fall—it was what happened next.

As soon as the tower collapsed, friends rushed over to help. They comforted the child who built it and said, “It’s okay, let’s rebuild it together.”

Isn’t that what life is all about? We all face challenges, changes, and moments when things don’t go as planned. Sometimes we fall. But with love, friendship, and support, we can always get back up.

At Friendship Circle, no one has to rebuild alone. There is always a friend to lean on, a shoulder to cry on, and a community ready to lift you up.

Our special friends teach us the most incredible lessons every day, and this was one we’ll never forget.

to where it all started 💕 almost 4 years ago, these three met and formed such a special friendship. Now, two are heading into their senior year of high school, and their buddy is getting ready to start middle school this fall. Watching their bond grow over the years has been so special. Time really does fly!

When Roni’s mom came to us, she shared that she wanted her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah to be more than just a celebration—she wanted it to have meaning. She wanted it to feel like Roni.

Together, we brought her vision to life. Roni chose to celebrate at Friendship Circle, surrounded by FC families and her closest friends. With beautiful pink and sage green touches throughout, Friendship Circle was transformed into a stunning garden-like space. The room was filled with joy, laughter, and so much love.

What made the evening especially meaningful was the incredible bond Roni shares with her beloved special brother. Friendship Circle has been such an important part of their family’s journey, and celebrating this milestone in a place that means so much to him made the night even more special.

Mazal Tov, Roni! May you continue to grow into the kind, compassionate, and caring young woman you are becoming. May you always cherish the love you share with your family, continue to bring light to those around you, and go from strength to strength. 💜✨

As we welcome the holiday of Shavous — the day the Jewish people received the Torah — we reflect on one of the Torah’s most powerful teachings: “Ve’ahavta L’reacha Kamocha” — love your fellow as yourself.

What does that really mean?

Sometimes it’s easy to love the people who are just like us, the friends we naturally connect with and enjoy being around. But real love and kindness also means taking the time to understand people we may not know well, people who are different from us, or people who simply experience the world differently. It means meeting people where they are at.

The same way you may love a chocolate chip cookie while someone else loves pizza — we all connect in different ways, and every person deserves to feel valued and understood for who they are.

Here at Friendship Circle, that is something we strive for every single day: creating a space where people feel comfortable, accepted, and genuinely cared for exactly as they are. Sometimes that can be challenging, but it is always deeply rewarding.

Graduation season feels a little extra special when you get to celebrate with the people who’ve been by your side.

Watching these friendships grow has been such a gift. The love, encouragement, laughter, and genuine connection between our amazing teen buddies and this sweet graduate is what our program is all about.

Moments like these remind us that everyone deserves to feel included, celebrated, and surrounded by friends who believe in them. We couldn’t be prouder. 🌟

Where are you going to be this Sunday?

As we head into our final week of F@H before summer break, we want to take a moment to thank every family who opened up their homes and allowed us to be part of your journey this year. The warmth, trust, and connection created throughout the year is what makes this community so meaningful.

And to our incredible teens — thank you. The dedication, care, energy, and heart you brought week after week was truly out of this world. The friendships you built and the impact you made will continue far beyond Sunday afternoons.

Friendship Circle, is not just another program. It’s a community. A place where friendships grow, families connect, teens lead, and every person feels like they belong. 💙

What makes this community so special are the ripple effects — the ones we see and the ones we don’t.
The confidence built in a child.

The support a parent feels walking into a room where they are understood.

The friendships that continue long after programs end.
The kindness our teens carry into their schools, homes, and future lives.

One connection can change a day.
A community like this can change lives.

Today, we celebrate all the incredible moms in friendship circle—especially those whose love and patience shine in ways most people don’t see. Raising a child with special needs takes endless courage, creativity, and heart. You show what real strength and unconditional love look like every single day. 💛 Happy Mother’s Day to the heroes who make the impossible feel possible.

For many of our seniors, this week was their last F@H 🤍

After four years of friendship, laughter, and so many unforgettable memories, it’s hard to put into words what these moments have meant. Watching our teen buddies grow and getting to be part of their journey has been such a gift.

Even though this chapter is coming to an end, the memories and bonds they have built will continue to grow into something even bigger and more meaningful. Good things may come to an end, but the impact and love shared at F@H will stay with us forever.
