The Law Library celebrates Juneteenth! Our Juneteenth display features resources on slavery and the law. Many of these resources can be found in our Special Collections. Please be advised that the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Library will be closed next Friday, June 19, 2026 for the Juneteenth holiday. Juneteenth celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. It is the oldest-known commemoration marking the end of slavery and was first recognized by the state of Texas. It is now a federal holiday and will be celebrated by the entire university with a campus closure. Our Summer Hours will resume the next day.
