Good Afternoon,
Change Happens!'s in partnership with Depelchin’s Children Center invites you to our free Positive Parenting Program! This is a three-part series focusing on three major topics around raising responsible, competent, and connected teenagers.
These topics focus on a variety of principles such as positive parenting, taking part in family decision making, developing a healthy lifestyle, getting involved in school activities, being socially skilled, keeping commitments, and taking care of others. We are excited to have DePelchin lead these presentations!
DePelchin is a non-profit organization with family-oriented services. DePelchin is an accredited foster care and adoption agency whose primary mission is to strengthen the lives of children by enhancing their mental and physical wellbeing. They also offer family and school-based counseling, parenting programs, birth mother programs, and have established locations in Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Lubbock.
Our Positive Parenting Program will take place on three separate dates, allowing for three opportunities to learn more about your parenting self and teen! Register and select all dates you’re interested in, there are no limits to the number of sessions you can attend! These sessions will be conducted on the first Wednesday of the next three months from 5.30pm to 7pm. All sessions are free, and we will be giving away raffle prizes to participants!
Topic 1: Dec 9, 2020: Raising Responsible Teenagers
Topic 2: January 13, 2021: Raising Competent Teenagers
Topic 3: February 10, 2021: Raising Connected Teenagers
