MOTORCYCLE PURSUIT ENDS IN ARREST
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM, Deputy C. Crider attempted to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation near the Gulf Freeway. The driver, 34-year-old Leocez Dimaculangan of California, initially appeared to comply before fleeing northbound on the service road.
The pursuit continued on to Winkler Drive and into a residential neighborhood, where the driver lost control and crashed into a lawn. He then attempted to evade on foot but was quickly apprehended and taken into custody.
The Harris County District Attorney's Office accepted the felony charge of Evading Arrest/Detention in a Motor Vehicle. Dimaculangan was transported and booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center. No bond has been set at this time.
