PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS

The purpose of The Debutante- Master's Academy is to assist parents in training their teens to be Christ-like. This teaching and nurturing process begins in the home and extends to the church, school and community.

The foundation of Christian education is the Word of God. The philosophy of Christian education is developed from the Bible and stands against the godless philosophies of humanism, materialism, secularism, and New Age.

The goals of the Debutante-Master's Academy shall be the following:

To help every student to be "thoroughly equipped for every good work." (II Timothy 3:17)

To encourage all students to "love the Lord their God with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their mind, and to love their neighbor as themselves." (Matthew 22:37-39)

To give Christ the pre-eminence in all things. (Colossians 1:18)
Christian education is first and foremost the responsibility of Christian parents (Deuteronomy 6:7). The Master's Academy has been established to assist parents to obey God's command to train their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Join us as Teens on the Front Line prepares the teens participants for the work of the cotillion. Participants receive information about the full year program of the Debutante and Masters academy with reference to the weekly focus of the program. Participants will explore effective goals and examine the concepts of a "Rites of Passage" program. We will demonstrate rituals associated with "Rites of Passage" and dialogue ways to improve the experience for teens 13-18. The officers and leaders will be prepared to answer all of your questions.

Declaration OF Faith: To Speak Over Your Children by Oral Roberts

My children are filled with the spirit of excellence; they excel in all they set their hands to; they’re dillgent, motivated, and hard working [ Dan.6:3, prov.10:4]

My children have a vision from heaven for their lives. They have so much vision, they hardly have time enough to do everything that you’ve put in their hearts to do. [Jer.29:11, Prov.29:18 ]

They have confidence ,and it’s based on their relationship with the Lord . [Prov.3:26]

They hear your voice, and the voice of a stranger they will not follow. [ Jn.10:5]

My children hunger and thirst after you, Jesus. They’re meditators of your word and your will .[ Mat.5:6 , Josh.1:8 ]

My children are wise . They bring joy to the hearts of their parents.[ Prov.10:1]

My children turn away from foolishness. and they love to listen to correction and instruction [ Prov. 22:15, Prov.5:12]

They have your favor on them and your wisdom with in them. [Ps.5:12]

They walk in the Spirit, and they do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. [Gal.5:16]

My children have the high callingof God upon their lives, and they choose life- the right way. God’s way , of doing things. They’re leaders and examples to many . [Phil.3:14, Deut.30:19 ]

My children are true worshipers of you, God. Theysee themselves they way you see them. My children are winners, master peices and history makers. [Jn.4:23]

They are head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. [Deut.28:13]

Everything my children set their hands to prospers. [ Gen.39:3]

My children choose wise and godly friendship. [ 1Cor.15:33]

My children aere patient, loving and kind. They’re courteous and positive. They’re filled with thankfulness and gratitude. They see the good in others,guard their mouths. [1 Cor.13:4-8, Ps. 141:3]

There’s so much more to life than finding someone who will want you, or being sad over someone who doesn’t. There’s a lot of wonderful time to be spent discovering yourself without hoping someone will fall in love with you along the way, and it doesn’t need to be painful or empty. You need to fill yourself up with love. Not anyone else. Become a whole being on your own. Go on adventures, sit in a coffee shop on your own, dress up for yourself, give to others, smile a lot. Live for yourself and be happy on your own. It isn’t any less beautiful, I promise.
