🎉 Happy New Year from Barbara Jordan Career Center! 🎉

As we welcome 2026, we’re proud to share student success from last spring:
✔️ 187 students earned an industry certification or college dual-credit
✔️ Students from every partner high school were represented
✔️ Nearly 75% of seniors earned a credential or college credit

These results reflect strong outcomes and broad access across our programs as we prepare students for college, careers, and industry.

As we begin this spring semester, we’re excited to build on this momentum and support our current students as they demonstrate what they’ve learned.

Here’s to a strong start to 2026 and an even stronger finish for this school year!

There is a job fair at Delmar Stadium today, May 31 from 8am to 12pm. The Career Center is hiring teachers for Culinary Arts, Electrician, HVAC, Construction, and Automotive Tech. Please come by the BJCC table. No teaching experience needed - just real life experience and a license in these fields.
