Our Purpose:

By state statute, deputies employed by the Office of Terry Allbritton, Harris County Precinct Five Constable, serve as licensed peace officers and perform various law enforcement functions including issuing traffic citations, responding to calls for service, investigating crimes, serving warrants and civil papers and acting as bailiffs for Justice of the Peace Courts. Our Mission:

Thank you KATY MAGAZINE, Katy Texas for this article. Our deputies are people too, and there are times they have to shift into parent mode while on patrol! It's sad these children were exposed to a traumatic situation but our deputies tried their best to help them through it.

Deputies focus on more than patrolling and policing. On some calls they strive to help show a positive to young victims experiencing a trauma. Community support can help them make a difference in victims’ lives.

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Assault Suspect Arrested In Katy

Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office were dispatched to the 5800 block of Longhorn Run Ln in regard to two males in an active physical disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and detained both subjects without incident.

Deputies conducted an investigation and learned one of the male subjects was arguing with his girlfriend. The male subject was refusing to let the female leave for work when her male friend intervened. The friend attempted to block the male subject from getting a hold of the female as the female was trying to get in a vehicle to leave. The male subject wrapped his arm around the friend’s neck in an attempt to take him to the ground and a fight ensued.

Both subjects presented with minor lacerations and were cleared by EMS on scene. The male subject was taken into custody for Assault causing Bodily Injury.

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Warrant Arrest In West Houston

On May 31, 2026, a Deputy assigned to Constable Terry Allbritton’s Toll Road Division initiated a traffic stop in the 1500 block of West Sam Houston Parkway North for speeding. The operator was identified and found to have 5 outstanding misdemeanor warrants originating out of the Precinct 5 Constable’s Office.

The warrants were confirmed and the operator was transported to the Harris County Jail.

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Drug Arrest In Katy

While conducting proactive patrol in the 970 block of S. Mason Road, a Nightshift Katy deputy with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office observed a white sedan parked in a poorly lit area behind a closed business. As the deputy approached to investigate, a female was seen making a hand-to-hand exchange with the male driver.

During the investigation, a glass m**h pipe was observed in plain view. A search of the vehicle and driver resulted in discovery of m**hamphetamine, prom**hazine, ma*****na, and a loaded firearm.
The male driver was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Theft Suspect Arrested After Attempting To Flee Deputies

Deputies from Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office were flagged down about a theft in progress in the 2700 block of Eldridge Parkway. A deputy observed a male suspect running on foot from the scene with two backpacks full of stolen merchandise.

The suspect fled to a nearby apartment complex and was found hiding underneath a vehicle. The defendant was subsequently arrested on felony theft charges because of previous theft convictions as well as evading arrest. The stolen property was recovered and the defendant was booked into the Harris County Jail.

Deputies from Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office were dispatched to a department store in the 2700 block of Eldridge Pkwy in reference to a theft. Prior to arrival, the defendant was detained by store employees. The defendant was arrested and charged with Class A theft. The defendant was transported to the Harris County Jail, where he was booked and confined without incident.

On May 29, 2026, Deputies assigned to Constable Terry Allbritton’s Toll Road Division initiated a traffic stop in the 5400 block of West Sam Houston Parkway North for minor traffic infractions. The operator was identified and found to have 12 outstanding misdemeanor warrants originating out of Precinct 4 and Precinct 5 Constables Office’s. The warrants were confirmed and the operator was transported to the Harris County Jail, where he was booked.

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: Drunk Driver Arrested Doing Donuts At Mall

Deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office responded to Memorial City Mall for a driver doing donuts on the third floor parking garage during buisness hours in the 900 block of Gessner. Contact was made with the driver who showed signs of intoxication.

A Standard Field Sobriety Test was administered to the driver. He was subsequently arrested for driving while being intoxicated.

PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: 16 Warrants Land Driver In Jail

On May 29, 2026, a Deputy assigned to Constable Terry Allbritton’s Toll Road Division initiated a traffic stop in the 2000 block of West Sam Houston Parkway North for minor traffic infractions. The operator was identified and found to have 16 outstanding misdemeanor warrants originating out of the Precinct 7 Constable’s Office and the Houston Police Department.

The warrants were confirmed and the operator was transported to the Harris County Jail, where he was booked.
