C shift crews responded to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment this morning on the Katy Freeway. Crews arrived to find the driver of an SUV pinned in a vehicle that was under an 18-wheeler trailer. Extrication tools were utilized to remove the driver from the vehicle. The driver was transported to the medical center in critical condition.

Village Fire Department Ladder 1 responded to a residential structure fire alongside Houston Fire Department working quickly to knock down heavy smoke and fire conditions with L1 crew performing vertical ventilation on the roof.

Yesterday was very busy for Village Fire Department crews.

Started off the morning with a house fire in Spring Valley Village. The fire resulted in extensive damage to the residence. Fire Investigators determined the cause to be an exhaust fan in a bathroom.

Additionally, L-1 responded to several automatic aids call with HFD.
