Houston just sold its future in a fire sale.

City Council voted yesterday to give up $100-200 million in future revenue to plug a $27 million hole in today’s budget.

They didn’t fix Houston’s spending problem. They just forced tomorrow’s taxpayers to cover today’s bills.
