In loving memory of Mr. Henry Wen Lung Wu, Board Chairman of American First National Bank, the Chinese Community Center honors a remarkable leader whose generosity, vision, and compassion left a profound and lasting impact on Houston families.

Through American First National Bank’s generous support, Mr. Wu enabled the Chinese Community Center to help children and youth from low-income households receive educational support and build a foundation for lifelong success, to help hardworking families achieve financial stability and thrive, and to help families whose homes were severely damaged by Hurricane Harvey to rebuild and recover.

We at the Chinese Community Center express our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr. Wu, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Wu and American First National Bank for their enduring partnership and unwavering support of our mission to bridge East and West by enriching families with educational, cultural, and social service programs.

Mr. Wu’s inspiring legacy of kindness and commitment to community carries on through the many lives he has touched. He will be forever honored and appreciated as part of the Chinese Community Center family
