I am deeply saddened by the news of the proposed shut down of my old school district. Now is not a time to point fingers, but a time to come together as a community to ensure that our children are not lost in transition. Regardless of the final outcome, we must remember that our primary concern should be the welfare and future of our youth.

The TEA notified the school district that it plans to shut it down amid financial and academic concerns

We are proud to have received the endorsement of the Houston Stonewall Young Democrats last night! Together we will work to create a more inclusive style of representation for residents of District B.

Happy 4th of July!!! We want to take the time to honor all of our troops, both at home and on tours abroad. If it was not for their courageous sacrifice, we would not be able to enjoy the freedoms we have today. A special thank you to all of our service members in District B!
