HFD Fire Station 86

HFD Fire Station 86 HFD Fire Station 86 houses a 2005 Ferrara Pumper and a Medic Unit. We are one of over 90 fire stations located in the city of Houston.

There are 6 Firefighters stationed here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. All members are cross-trained as Firefighters and either EMT-B or Paramedic.

It's a bittersweet day on here at Station 86. Firefighter/Paramedic Roy Cormier (left in 1st pic) will be taking on an administrative assignment and leaving the station. This is especially tought since he and Engineer Operator/Paramedic Marco Martinez (right in 1st pic) have worked together for 15 years. That's unheard of in HFD. They started working together in 2009 at HFD Station 49 before securing their post at HFD Fire Station 86. These two have weathered a lot over the years from the tough calls, bloody call, to the calls that weren't calls, and from their travels around the World. So while they will not be on the unit together for now, they vow to not quit each other. Hugs 🥰 Marco & Roy!
